This new website published today.  Old website had been dormant for several years.


The main change is that purchasing now must be done by contacting the author direct at butterflyeurope@btinternet.com.

The chapters on the Hesperiidae (Skippers) are mainly written, but ideally need several more particular photographs.  This was prevented by Covid,  Therefore I have delayed the Hesperiidae and turned to the Satyrinae (Browns).


I am currently working on chapters concerning the Heaths, Meadow Browns etc, scheduled for completion in late 2021, when they will be published as a batch.


It is intended to complete the  Satyrinae before returning to the Hesperiidae.
